4 If you were a super-pro , what team would you like to ride for and why ? Saxo Bank – Top organization.

5 Who s your ideal date ? Wife – Denise (Cop out – but true)

6 What book/magazine are you reading at the moment ? Daniel Easterman Thriller – Can’t think of the name but the pages turn easy enough. Always reading a current cycling magazine.

7 Whats the best bike race in the world ? Stage Race – Giro. One day – Tour of Flanders

8 Your greatest achievement off the bike? Having the support I get in all aspects of life from my ideal date.

9 What 5 people would you invite to dinner ( either dead or alive ) Can’t think of one, let alone five – all that time on the turbo makes me really unsociable.

10 Any goals for next season ? To survive the Sunday hammerings dished out over the winter by a certain Mr Hennessy in one piece.

1 Whats your favourite meal? dinner:)
Chicken, brown rice and sweet thai chilli sauce.

2 Who's your hero?
Robbie McEwen a true sprinter, Sean Kelly, Tom Boonen and Brian Kenneally.

3 Whats your favourite climb?
My climb out of bed each morning I have to go out training!

4 If you were a super-pro, what team would you like to ride for and why?
Team Columbia high road htc, because you would get an arm chair ride to the finish, it is very hard to get it wrong with that support on the road! but you must remember a super pro because I dont think I would fancy trying to hold their wheel!haha. My favourite team is Quick Step.

5 Who's your ideal date?
My girlfriend Tara, she helps me unwind, I can be myself and she'll make sure i'm in bed early for training the next day!

6 What book/magazine are you reading at the moment?
Nutrition books, mainly because im doing my college assignment on it but also because it will help me look after myself for my sport.

7 Whats the best bike race in the world?
Paris-Roubaix and also the world championship.

8 Your greatest achievement off the bike?
Getting a good leaving cert in the same year as getting a great result in the 3 biggest races of the year.

9 What 5 people would you invite to dinner(either dead or alive)?
Paul Healion, Mark Heneghan and my best friend Bernard(these are the funniest people I've ever met), Robbie McEwen and Tom Boonen.

10 Any goals for next season?
I would like keep progressing to step myself up into a higher level. I would like to be on good form for the world championship.

Ian:A bella cafe or a thai lana.

2 Who's your hero?
Ian:Mark Cavendish..he is just class...won loads of races and is fastest sprinter in the world.

3 Whats your favourite climb?
Ian:I'm not good at climbing but probably would be Cappa Cross.

4 If you were a super-pro,what team would you like to ride for and why?
Ian:It would be Garmin or Team Columbia beacause they have good cyclists on their teams.

5 Who's your ideal date?
Ian:LOL...it would be Paris Hilton.

6 What book/magazine are you reading at the moment?
Ian:Cycling Weekly.

7 Whats the best bike race in the world?
Ian:Tour de France....nothing can beat it.

8 Your greatest achievement off the bike?
Ian:Winning the U14 Cork school boys league.

9 What 5 people would you invite to dinner(either dead or alive)?
Ian:Mark Cavendish,Cristiano Ronaldo,Wayne Rooney,Alberto Contedor and Fabio Cancellara.

10 Any goals for next season?
Ian:Hope to do well in all races especially the junior tour of Ireland.

1 Whats your favourite meal ?
My favourite meal would have to be a roast dinner with yorkshire pudding!



2 Who s your hero?
My hero would be Sean Kelly because he rode with his heart and never gave up.



3 Whats your favourite climb ?
One that I've ridden would probaly be Glocamara or the vee but i'd love to ride the Alp d'Huez.



4 If you were a super-pro , what team would you like to ride for and why ?
Saxo-Bank because their a well done team and have talented riders as well as experienced pros.



5 Who s your ideal date ?
Eva Mendes. Very,very,very hot!



6 What book/magazine are you reading at the moment ?
I'm reading Cherub:The Recruit. Jam-packed and cool.



7 Whats the best bike race in the world ?
The Tour de France and Ardenne classics , especially the Amstel Gold Race. I'd love to win both!!



8 Your greatest achievement off the bike?
Reprsenting my school in England in running at the District Games. Didn't do to well though!



9 What 5 people would you invite to dinner ( either dead or alive )
Lance Armstrong (for cycling tips),Pat Shortt (for some comedy),Albert Einstein (for hair tips!),Beyonce (have a bit of a singsong) and Bradley Wiggins (don't know why).



10 Any goals for next season ?
To get a pro contract!!!!Ha,Ha!!I,ll just do my best and hopefully success will come!

Details on Winter Indoor Training

We have 18 signed up for Wednesday's Class .
Bring your bike , turbo trainer(if you have one) ,water ,towel and plenty of warm clothes for afterwards .
Come on a light stomach ,maybe have a light snack at 4pm .
We will be doing some stretching and core strength work also .


The Free Tuesday Evening Class is getting a lot of interest too .All Welcome !
7pm ,Let me know if you are coming ,as I only have a limited amount of Turbos.
